On August 7, 2020, Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People¡¯s Court (hereinafter referred to as the ¡°Court¡±) held an event to commemorate the juvenile trial tenth anniversary and released the micro-film Dumplings adapted from a juvenile case tried by the Court. Mr. Lin Li, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Shanghai High People¡¯s Court, Mr. Guo Weiqing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Court, Mr. Tian Shuiquan, Director of the Film and Television Center of the Supreme People¡¯s Court, and Mr. Gai Feng, Deputy Director of the Video Department of www.chinacourt.org, attended the event. Representatives of the Shanghai Municipal Women and Children Committee, Shanghai Women¡¯s Federation, Shanghai Youth Services and Rights Protection Office and other relevant entities, the production team of the micro-film Dumplings, reporters of Xinhua News Agency, Jiefang Daily, Xinmin Evening News and other media joined the event at invitation.

During the event, Mr. Lin Li and Mr. Guo Weiqing presented the Outstanding Contribution Award to Ms. Zhang Hua, Judge of the Court¡¯s Juvenile and Family Affairs Tribunal, and Mr. Chen Zaiyue, the former director of the Hongkou District Juvenile Protection Office and People¡¯s Juror. The five-term leaders of the juvenile tribunal of the Court gathered at the event to discuss the development of and expectations on juvenile trial work. Those handling the prototype case of the micro-film Dumplings and the film¡¯s production team shared their reflections during the trial and the production of the film. The event ended with a recitation of the original poem The Catcher in the Flower Field and the song of the Court The Light of the Most Righteous.
