Shanghai Songjiang District People¡¯s Court Reported on Guaranteeing the Law-based Business Environment of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor and Released White Paper on Trial

On November 17, 2022, the Shanghai Songjiang District People¡¯s Court (the ¡°Shanghai Songjiang Court¡±) held a press conference to report how it had guaranteed the law-based business environment of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor (¡°G60 Corridor¡±) since 2020, and released the white paper and model cases. Shi Xiaoping, member of the Party Leadership Group and director of the Political Department of the Shanghai Songjiang Court, presided over the press conference, and Hu Yabin, member of the Party Leadership Group and vice president of the Shanghai Songjiang Court, gave a rundown of relevant situation. The press conference was the seventh in a series of conferences designed to show how the Shanghai High People¡¯s Court had been doing in promoting the development of an international top-notch law-based business environment.

According to the press conference, as an important portal in the southwest of Shanghai, Songjiang is an innovation source of the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial development in the G60 Corridor of the Yangtze River Delta. From the traditional suburban area which was mostly made up by agricultural counties and real estate to the innovation source that offers huge support for the country¡¯s major regional strategy, Songjiang had been working to create a Songjiang Sample in the context of Chinese modernization by focusing on high-quality development and building new corridors which see a shift from ¡°Made in China¡± to ¡°Created in China¡±, a parallel of scientific and technological innovation with institutional innovation, and an integration of industrial and urban development.

The Shanghai Songjiang Court led the linkage among the nine cities of the G60 Corridor under the rule of law, and provided judicial services and guarantees for creating a market-oriented, law-based, and international top-notch business environment in the G60 Corridor of the Yangtze River Delta.
