


Recently, judges from the Commercial Division of the Songjiang District People¡¯s Court provided a lecture on the combination of legal theory and judicial practice to students at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, focusing on legal issues related to construction land and real estate development.
Since 2024, in order to earnestly implement the ¡°Implementation Plan for Shanghai Courts¡¯ Comprehensive Deepening of New Era Court-University Cooperation and undertaking the Joint Responsibility for Cultivating Legal Talents,¡± the Songjiang District People¡¯s Court has closely coordinated with contracted universities. It has fully leveraged the unique advantages of practical departments in participating in the cultivation of legal talents, highlighting the importance of learning, practice, and research. By providing high-quality practical teaching resources, the Court has promoted the deep integration of legal theoretical research with judicial practice and reform practice. To date, three sessions of the ¡°Songfa Lecture Hall¡± judicial practice courses have been conducted, bringing legal practice courses to campuses.
To promote new practical outcomes in court-university cooperation and achieve the goal of cultivating legal professionals with practical and applied skills, the Songjiang District People¡¯s Court has also meticulously developed the ¡°Songfa Lecture Hall¡± judicial practice course series. The ¡°Songfa Lecture Hall¡± judicial practice course series is designed to cover the entire process of legal procedures including filing, trial and enforcement. The courses focus on difficult and complex cases in judicial practice, legal hotspots, and challenging issues of concern in the academic community, and new situations and problems in judicial reform across multiple dimensions. The courses aim to effectively enhance students¡¯ legal literacy and practical skills.
In the future, the Songjiang District People¡¯s Court will continue to leverage its geographical advantages, deepen collaborative efforts, integrate resources from all parties, and optimize the course system. The courses aim to chart a new chapter in cooperative innovation and to seek new breakthroughs in combining theory and practice, thereby promoting the high-quality development of legal education and research as well as the practice of rule of law.
