On April 22, 2025, coinciding with the approach of the 25th World Intellectual Property Day, Fengxian District People's Court, Fengxian District Intellectual Property Bureau (hereinafter referred to as the "District IPR Bureau"), Fengxian District Federation of Industry and Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the "District Federation of Industry and Commerce"), and The Oriental Beauty Valley Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "The Oriental Beauty Valley Group") jointly held the unveiling ceremony for the "Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Circuit Trial Station in Shanghai Agricultural Science and Innovation Valley" and the distribution ceremony for the IPR trial white paper at the Oriental Beauty Valley Park.

More than 40 people, including municipal and district-level deputies to the People's Congress, members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), special supervisors of the district, representatives of the District IPR Bureau, media journalists, and enterprise representatives, participated in the activity.

At the meeting, Chen Jiayu distributed the White Paper on Intellectual Property Trials by Fengxian District People's Court of Shanghai (2024) and its accompanying pocket book to deputies and enterprise representatives. This White Paper is the second one on IP case trials issued by Fengxian Court. It systematically summarizes the work of IP protection and the trial of IP cases by Fengxian Court in 2024, providing detailed answers to legal issues concerning IP protection that are of common concern to market entities, and offering valuable references for business operations.

On site, Fengxian Court, the District IPR Bureau, the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Dongfang Beauty Valley Group jointly unveiled the Circuit Trial Station in Shanghai Agricultural Science and Innovation Valley and signed a four-party agreement. This initiative aims to achieve comprehensive protection from research and development to market transformation, from the perspectives of specialized judicial adjudication, efficient administrative supervision, precise enterprise services, and pre-emptive industry mediation.

The circuit trial station will give full play to the positive role of justice in protecting IP rights, encouraging independent innovation, maintaining fair competition, etc., through regular circuit trials, legal consultation, legal publicity, and other judicial services, and help the innovative development of agricultural science and technology enterprises in Fengxian District.

After the unveiling ceremony, the circuit court station opened its first hearing, selecting a case involving the crime of selling goods with counterfeit registered trademarks. It was heard publicly in a centralized manner in the park, providing enterprises with a vivid public legal education session.

On the same day, the Commercial Division of Fengxian Court also held a legal education lecture on the theme of "Protecting Innovation Achievements and Safeguarding the Future of Agriculture¡ªCopyright Law and Agricultural Entrepreneurship Practice."
