To further improve the diversified dispute resolution mechanism in the private economy sector, proactively respond to the multifaceted legal service needs of commercial entities, and foster a more favorable law-based business environment, the Pudong New Area People¡¯s Court recently jointly held a commercial mediation training session with the District Justice Bureau and the District Federation of Industry and Commerce under the theme ¡°Embracing Commercial Mediation, Building a Harmonious Business Environment Together.¡± The event invited over 100 attendees, including mediation organizations, specially invited mediators, commercial mediation bodies in Pudong New Area, representatives of private enterprises, and corporate legal affairs supervisors.

The training focused on three main topics: ¡°Drafting of Commercial Mediation Documents and Hands-on Use of the Mediation System,¡± ¡°Risk Management and Mediation Techniques Related to Contract Termination in Commercial Transactions,¡± and ¡°Legal Risks and Compliance Strategies for Overseas Business Operations.¡±

In recent years, the Pudong New Area People's Court has adhered to the vision of supporting high-quality development of the private economy by optimizing the business environment. Upholding and advancing the ¡°Fengqiao Experience¡± in the new era, the Court has actively integrated into the broader grassroots governance framework under Party leadership, aiming to meet developmental needs and business expectations. It has sought ¡°optimal solutions¡± for private sector-related disputes through improving mediation mechanisms, cultivating professional mediation teams, and advancing digital court construction. This training session represents an important measure to enhance the law-based business environment and promote the healthy development of the private economy.

Moving forward, the Pudong New Area People's Court will continue to embed the goal of optimizing the business environment throughout the entire litigation process. It will further improve the diversified dispute resolution system for enterprise-related matters by innovating mechanisms, integrating resources, delivering services at the grassroots level, and strengthening institutional safeguards, and other measures. It aims to energize enterprise development factors with more "rule-of-law elements" and providing high-quality judicial services to support high-quality economic development.
