On May 23, 2025, the Qingpu District People's Court (hereinafter referred to as "Qingpu Court¡±) and the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law jointly held the launch ceremony of the "Shanghai University of Political Science and Law Undergraduate Practical Teaching Base" and the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the Criminal Tribunal of the Qingpu District People's Court of Shanghai and the School of Criminal Justice of the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. Gao Jindeng, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Political Department of the Qingpu Court, presided over the event.

Fang Zhengjie, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Qingpu Court, and Pan Mutian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Disciplinary Inspection Committee, and Supervisory Commissioner of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, jointly unveiled the "Shanghai University of Political Science and Law Undergraduate Practical Teaching Base".

Zhang Weidong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Qingpu Court, and Wang Shoufen, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Criminal Justice, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, signed the Cooperation Agreement between the Criminal Division of the Qingpu District People's Court of Shanghai and the School of Criminal Justice of the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. Both sides reached a consensus on fully integrating resources, stimulating the advantages and effectiveness of their respective fields, and collaborating in joint construction.

Fang Zhengjie proposed the following for this cooperation: First, focus on the main responsibilities and businesses, and empower regional high-quality development with talents from other areas; second, follow the principle of "unity of knowledge and action" to cultivate legal talents with both moral integrity and legal expertise; third, leverage the combined strengths of research and trial work to promote the coexistence and progress of judicial practice and theoretical innovation.

On the same day, a symposium was held where participants exchanged views on cooperation directions, promotion paths, key areas, and other relevant topics.
