[2025-05-26]

To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important guidance on family, family education, and family traditions, and to further strengthen cooperation between courts and schools in safeguarding minors’ healthy growth, efforts are being made to jointly advance family education guidance and establish a coordinated protection mechanism for minors. On the occasion of International Children’s Day, the Hongkou District People’s Court held a launch ceremony for the family education platform titled "Learning Out of Love", along with a themed salon event under the banner "Starting Anew with Love, Legal Protection for Growth."

Leaders from the Shanghai High People’s Court (SHPC), Shanghai Second Intermediate People’s Court, Hongkou District People’s Court, Hongkou District Education Bureau, Judicial Bureau, Women’s Federation, and Education Institute, along with deputies and committee members, attended the event.

During the event, the Civil Tribunal of the Hongkou District People’s Court and the Hongkou District Research and Guidance Center for Family Education in Schools (hereinafter referred to as the “Hongkou District Family Education Center”) signed the Project Proposal for the Joint Development of the Guidance Program of Online Family Education Platform Titled ‘Learning Out of Love’ (hereinafter referred to as the “Project Proposal for the Joint Development”).

The "Project Proposal for the Joint Development " clearly defines the cooperation objectives of both parties: By establishing a long-term, stable, and efficient collaborative mechanism that integrates judicial and educational resources, the Project Proposal aims to provide professional guidance to families involved in cases with educational issues, promote scientific parenting, enhance harmonious and stable family relationships, and support the healthy development of minors.

The specific cooperation content in the "Project Proposal for the Joint Development" includes: The Hongkou District People’s Court shall, in accordance with the circumstances of case hearings and relevant laws, issue Family Education Guidance Orders. The Hongkou District Family Education Center provides targeted online courses for individuals subject to family education guidance, including knowledge lectures, parent-child relationship counseling, psychological support, and behavior correction. Both parties will jointly conduct publicity campaigns on the protection of minors’ rights and family education guidance, promote successful practices, and raise public awareness of the importance of family education. Additionally, they will establish an information-sharing platform to promptly exchange updates on family education guidance work, case information, research findings, and related materials.

To further promote the effective implementation of Family Education Guidance Orders and integrate digital court development into judicial work, the Hongkou District People’s Court launched the online family education platform titled “Learning Out of Love” during the event.

This platform is a significant achievement born from the proactive innovation and deepened cooperation between Hongkou District People's Court and Hongkou District Institute of Education. It serves as a vivid example of their joint efforts to safeguard the healthy growth of minors and stands as a practical response to social concerns by strengthening minor protection. Looking ahead, Hongkou District People's Court will collaborate with relevant organizations such as the Hongkou District Education Bureau, the Hongkou District Women's Federation, and the district’s judicial administrative departments to further enhance family education guidance and better protect the healthy development of minors.

At the event, participants engaged in discussions focused on the protection of women and minors.

Going forward, Hongkou District People's Court will continue to innovate family education guidance mechanisms, maintain high standards in judicial adjudication and service support, fully integrate resources from all stakeholders, continuously optimize operational frameworks, and further advance the rule of law in protecting minors.
