Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Shanghai High People¡¯s Court, Attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Shanghai Court Young and Middle-aged Cadre Training Class and the First Session of Shanghai Court Outstanding Youth Training Camp, and Delivered a Mobilization Speech

In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and General Secretary Xi Jinping¡¯s important instruction on the work regarding young cadres, and solidly promote a hierarchical and progressive training model for young cadres, in the morning of September 19, the 2022 Shanghai Court Young and Middle-aged Cadre Training Class and the First Session of Shanghai Court Outstanding Youth Training Camp were held at the Shanghai Judge Training Center. Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai High People¡¯s Court, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a mobilization speech. Tan Bin, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Political Department of Shanghai High People¡¯s Court, presided over the opening ceremony. Directors of the Political Departments of various courts, persons in charge of relevant divisions of the Political Department of Shanghai High People¡¯s Court, and 102 trainees from the courts in Shanghai attended the opening ceremony.

President Liu Xiaoyun put forward clear requirements for young cadres to comprehensively improve themselves in four aspects of ¡°increasing political literacy, enhancing quality, improving loyalty, and keeping the bottom line¡±, and encouraged them to strive to contribute their wisdom and strength to the development of courts in Shanghai, and embrace the successful convening of the 20^th CPC National Congress with practical actions. The first is to increase political literacy, which is reflected in absolute loyalty to the Party, improving theoretical knowledge, and concrete work. The second is to enhance quality, which requires young cadres to strengthen professional learning capabilities, pioneering and innovative capabilities, and the ability to getting things done in a proper manner. The third is to improve loyalty. It¡¯s necessary for young cadres to grasp the big picture, and excel at understanding the overall situation and seizing the general trend. They need to always put the country, the nation and the people first, improve the ability to work for the masses, and stand firm with the masses. The fourth is to keep the bottom line. Young cadres should pay attention to cultivating the mind and morality, be diligent in self-cultivation, be honest in life, and establish a good family tradition. They need to be strict with themselves in conduct, and always keep in mind that judicial affair is no small matter. It¡¯s necessary for them to strengthen integrity and self-discipline, and strictly implement the ¡°three regulations.¡±

Director Tan Bin put forward specific requirements on implementing the spirit of President Liu Xiaoyun¡¯s speech and making the training program produce fruitful results. First, it is imperative to fully understand the importance of the training program; second, it is imperative to focus on improving the abilities of getting things done and making innovative achievements; third, it is imperative to conscientiously abide by the discipline of study and training.
