On the morning of May 21, the Shanghai High People's Court (hereinafter referred to as "SHPC¡±) held the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law Session of the ¡°Shanghai Courts Expert Delegation to Universities¡± Lecture Event. Wang Guangxian, Vice President of the SHPC, Li Shulan, Standing Member of the Adjudication Committee of the SHPC, and Liu Renshan, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, attended the event. Sun Jing, Deputy Director of the Political Department of the SHPC, introduced the lecture series and the experts involved. Faculty members, students, and alumni from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law participated in the event and listened to the lectures.

At the event, Wang Guangxian and Liu Renshan jointly launched the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law Session of the ¡°Shanghai Courts Expert Delegation to Universities¡± Lecture Event. Wang Guangxian delivered a special lecture titled The Integration and Practice of Emotion, Reason, and Law in Criminal Justice in the New Era. Drawing on his rich experience in handling a wide range of cases, he elaborated on the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese judicial wisdom in the development of criminal trial work in the new era. He also explained the essential connection between "emotion, reason, and law," and the judicial wisdom of their organic unity in contemporary criminal justice practice.

Following this lecture, Li Shulan, Standing Member of the Adjudication Committee of the SHPC, Liu Li, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Putuo District People's Court, and Yu Dong¡¯ai, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai Railway Transport Court (SRTC), delivered lectures on the exploration and practice of IP judicial protection, the deconstruction and reshaping of adjudication methods in the digital era, and the adjudication thinking and methods of civil judges, respectively.
