On July 4, the Party Branch of the General Office of the Shanghai High People's Court (SHPC), together with the Party Branch of the Civil Court, visited the Former Residence of Mao Zedong Exhibition Hall to carry out a themed Party Day activity titled ¡°Study the Thought, Strengthen Work Style, Make New Contributions¡±. Jia Yu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the SHPC, participated in the event as an ordinary Party member.
As he listened carefully to the guide¡¯s introduction and read the historical artifacts and materials on display, President Jia engaged in discussion with fellow Party members, saying: We need to learn from the writing style of the older generation of revolutionaries: keep it as concise as possible, speak directly to the point, avoid empty talk and formalistic clich¨¦s, and use plain, straightforward language that ordinary people can easily understand. President Jia emphasized that Chairman Mao exemplified how the older generation of revolutionaries stayed closely connected with the people at all times and firmly upheld the people¡¯s position. He stressed that to conduct sound investigation and research, we must adhere to the principle of seeking truth from facts, resolutely oppose formalism, work in a down-to-earth manner, and truly solve real problems.
