On July 24, the Shanghai High People's Court (hereinafter referred to as ¡°SHPC¡±) held the fifth ¡°Top Ten Outstanding Young Judicial Talents¡± Awards of Shanghai Court and Style Showcase Event. Jia Yu, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the SHPC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Members of the Party Leadership Group of the SHPC, court leaders, bureau-level officials, presidents of grassroots courts across Shanghai, heads of various departments of the SHPC, directors of political departments from intermediate and grassroots courts, and youth representatives from courts citywide attended the event. Leaders from the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Working Committee for Municipal-Level Organs, the Communist Youth League Shanghai Committee, the Shanghai Bar Association, as well as certain deputies to the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, members of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People¡¯s Political Consultative Conference, specially invited supervisors and consultants of the SHPC, heads of relevant departments from the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Committee and partner universities, heads of youth organizations of relevant units, and representatives from certain media outlets were invited to attend.
Jia Yu expressed full recognition of the ¡°Top Ten Outstanding Young Judicial Talents¡± Awards of Shanghai Court and Style Showcase Event and extended warm congratulations to the police officers and court staff who were honored as ¡°Top Ten Outstanding Young Judicial Talents¡±. He pointed out that, focusing on the main tasks of ¡°political construction as the guide, judicial quality and efficiency as the core, and digital reforms as the empowerment¡±, the Party Leadership Group of the SHPC has, from a strategic perspective of carrying forward the Party's cause and the people¡¯s judicial mission across generations, built platforms and created favorable conditions for young court officers to demonstrate their talents and enhance their capabilities. He also put forward three expectations for young court officers across all courts in Shanghai: First, they must establish firm convictions, words, and actions, resolutely consolidate their ideological foundation of loyalty to the Party, inherit and carry forward the spirit of Zou Bihua, and transform their loyalty to the Party and determination to undertake pioneering work into the capability and achievements of administering impartial justice. Second, they must be good at learning, thinking, and taking action, earnestly shoulder the important responsibility of providing judicial services and ensuring overall support for the big picture, and strive to become high-caliber young talents whose mindset, vision, and capabilities match the requirements of judicial work in the new era. Third, they must be courageous in innovation and breakthroughs, demonstrating the enterprising spirit of Shanghai court youth who dare to explore and strive forward, and use the innovative vitality of youth to drive greater progress in the work of Shanghai courts.
Han Wenjiang from the SHPC, Xiong Yan from the Shanghai Second Intermediate People's Court, Li Sirun from the Shanghai Maritime Court, Ge Xiang from the Shanghai Financial Court, Zhang Qianjunfu from the Xuhui District People's Court, Chen Shuai from the Minhang District People¡¯s Court, Hu Shuang from the Fengxian District People¡¯s Court, Zhang Junzi from the Huangpu District People¡¯s Court, Ji Xiaotong from the Hongkou District People's Court, Sheng Li from the Putuo District People's Court, and Ni Shengzhe from the Qingpu District People's Court were awarded the title of the Fifth ¡°Top Ten Outstanding Young Judicial Talents¡± Awards of Shanghai Court. Other candidates received nominations for the ¡°Top Ten Outstanding Young Judicial Talents¡± honor. The event specially invited representatives of previous ¡°Top Ten Outstanding Young Judicial Talents¡± winners to present a heartfelt music and poetry recital on site.
