On the morning of November 10, the 2025 Training Program for Young and Middle-Aged Cadres of Shanghai Courts officially commenced. Lu Weimin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Shanghai High People's Court attended the opening ceremony and delivered a mobilization speech. Wang Liqiu, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Political Department of the Shanghai High People's Court, presided over the ceremony. Participants included mid-level and senior officials from the Political Department of the High People¡¯s Court, some trainees from the Training Program for Division-Level Leading Cadres of Shanghai courts, and the 35 trainees of the Young and Middle-Aged Cadres' Class.

Vice President Lu Weimin engaged in an in-depth exchange with the trainees, focusing on three core questions: "Why is the Young and Middle-Aged Cadres' Class held as a regular practice", "What are the objectives of holding this class", and "How can we successfully organize and participate in this class through inheritance and development?" Vice President Lu Weimin pointed out that organizing training programs for young and middle-aged cadres is a practical necessity to ensure the succession of the Party and the State's strategic vision, a practical necessity for Shanghai courts to implement the "Four Exemplars", and a practical necessity for young cadres to achieve personal growth. Young and middle-aged cadres shall focus on the key phrase "Fulfilling Duties and Taking Responsibility", consolidate their political foundation, and stimulate intrinsic drive for fulfilling their duties; temper solid capabilities and acquire genuine competence for performing their responsibilities; demonstrate courage in innovation and overcoming challenges to forge strong shoulders capable of bearing responsibilities; and maintain strict self-discipline and cultivate integrity to build a firm safeguard for fulfilling their responsibilities. It is imperative to highlight the main theme of political training, and to ensure its success by integrating political literacy with professional competence, talent development with cadre selection, and theoretical advancement with practical problem-solving. The training program must be well organized by prioritizing earnest learning, conducting in-depth research, emphasizing diligent summarization, and strictly observing discipline.

Director Wang Liqiu, focusing on implementing the requirements of the Party Leadership Group of the High People's Court and ensuring the effectiveness of the training, put forward three specific requirements: First, cement the political soul and demonstrate unwavering loyalty by grasping the correct direction; Second, hone professional competence and write a responsible answer by achieving the unity of knowledge and action; Third, tighten the string of discipline and present a sound image by maintaining strictness and order.
