On November 28, the

Collective Wisdom to Addressing Shared Challenges" to deepencooperation
between shanghai courts and universities. Jia Yu, secretary of the Leading
Party Members' Group and President of the SHPC, attended the meeting and

Affairs Commission of the CPC, the Ministry of Education, and the Shanghai
Municipal Education Commission attended the meeting. Zhu Changyun, Deputy

Committee of the CPC, members of the Leading Party Members' Group of the
Shanghai High People's Court, court leaders, and bureau-level officials,
presidents of grassroots courts; and responsible persons from 26 partner

President Jia Yu,
focusing on establishing a long-term mechanism under which judicial organs
assume joint responsibility of the cultivation of rule-of-law talent,
emphasized the need to strengthen top-level design and to build a more
comprehensive collaborative education framework. It is necessary to incorporate
the collaborative cultivation of rule-of-law talent more systematically into relevant
national plans, and to promote the transformation of collaborative education
from "local spontaneity" to "national coordination". It is
necessary to advance regular mechanisms to continuously enhance the overall
effectiveness of court-university cooperation. Adhering to the principle of
"pilot one item, summarize one item, standardize one item", an
institutional system covering the entire cooperation process and all stages
shall be established, and the "Shanghai Court-University Collaborative
Talent Cultivation" brand shall be continuously strengthened. Attention
should be paid to leading by example and striving to provide a "Shanghai
Model" for the cultivation of rule-of-law talent nationwide. Solid efforts
shall be made on the task of "comprehensive promotion and nationwide
outreach", systematically sorting out and refining replicable and
promotable experience and practices and promoting the dissemination of
high-quality judicial teaching resources of Shanghai courts to more regions and
a broader range of universities.
