Lu Weimin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Shanghai High People's Court, Attended the 2025 Face-to-Face Communication Meeting between Deputies to Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and the People's Courts  

On the afternoon of December 25, the 2025 Face-to-Face Communication Meeting between Deputies to Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and the People's Courts was held at the People's Court of Changning District. Lu Weidong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and Chairman of the Supervisory and Judicial Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, and Lu Weimin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Shanghai High People's Court, attended the meeting. The participants included Xu Yanping and Li Ming, Deputy Chairmen of the Supervisory and Judicial Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, and Xu Shiliang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and President of the People's Court of Changning District, as well as some members of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, deputies to the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, and heads of relevant functional departments of the Shanghai High People's Court.

Chairman Lu Weidong emphasized that all courts in Shanghai should earnestly implement the spirit of the Eighth Plenary Session of the Twelfth Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC, make scientific plans for the key tasks of next year, and, through high-quality judicial services, support the detailed and effective implementation of all deployments for realizing the "15th Five-Year Plan" goals.

Vice President Lu Weimin briefed the deputies on the drafting and main content of the 2025 Shanghai People's Courts Work Report. The deputies fully affirmed the courts' work report and the work of Shanghai people's courts, putting forward opinions and suggestions on how to further optimize the law-based business environment, deepen digital reform empowerment, and strengthen the resolution of conflicts and disputes at the source.

Vice President Lu Weimin listened attentively to the deputies' speeches and stated that the Shanghai High People's Court would carefully study and incorporate the suggestions, further revise and improve the work report, and truly transform the suggestions into practical measures that promote the high-quality development of the courts' work.

Before the meeting, the deputies inspected the "Rainbow Bridge" judicial work station and the circuit court set up by the People's Court of Changning District in the Changning District Comprehensive Governance Center, focusing on the judicial practice theme of whole-process people's democracy.
