On the afternoon of February 2, Jia Yu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Shanghai High People¡¯s Court (SHPC), together with Cao Jie, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the SHPC, Wang Liqiu, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Political Department of the SHPC, and heads of relevant departments of the SHPC, participated in an on-site consultation at the Fourth Session of the 16^th Shanghai Municipal People¡¯s Congress held at the Shanghai World Expo Center. They listened to the opinions and suggestions from deputies to the Shanghai Municipal People¡¯s Congress. In response to the deputies¡¯ inquiries and suggestions on issues such as the substantive resolution of conflicts and disputes, judicial protection of intellectual property, property preservation, and the development of digital courts, the SHPC leaders and department heads provided patient and detailed explanations. The on-site consultation session handled a total of 15 inquiries and addressed 14 specific opinions and suggestions of the deputies. During the session, Huang Lixin, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People¡¯s Congress, visited the venue to convey her regards to the court staff.
