On the morning of February 9, the launch ceremony of the ¡°Shanghai International Commercial One-Stop Diversified Dispute Resolution Center¡± (hereinafter referred to as the ¡°Center¡±) and the Seminar on Innovation in Diversified International Commercial Dispute Resolution Mechanisms were held at the new premises of the Shanghai International Commercial Court (SICC). Jia Yu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Shanghai High People¡¯s Court, Zhang Lei, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, and Gu Quan, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice, attended the seminar and jointly inaugurated the Center. The event was hosted by Wu Jinshui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Shanghai First Intermediate People¡¯s Court.

Following the official launch of the Center, the 25 resident institutions jointly signed the Initiative on Joining the Shanghai International Commercial One-Stop Diversified Dispute Resolution Center. Guests present shared their thoughts and suggestions on participating in the development of the Center and enhancing the effectiveness of international commercial dispute resolution.

President Jia delivered concluding remarks, calling for heightened perspective and stronger commitment, deepened expertise and breakthrough innovation, and enhanced capabilities and a solid foundation. He emphasized the need to further advance the high-standard development of the SICC and accelerate efforts to establish it as a preferred venue for international commercial dispute resolution.
