On May 29, the
Party branch of the Shanghai High People¡¯s Court (SHPC) General Office, in
collaboration with the Party branch of the Civil Division, held a Party Day
event themed ¡°Stepping into the Frontiers of Tech Innovation, Committing to
Judicial Responsibility.¡± Centered on Shanghai¡¯s pivotal mission to advance the
¡°Five Centers¡± development, the rollout of the 15th Five-Year Plan,
and the imperative to foster new quality productive forces, the event featured
an on-the-ground study tour of Huawei¡¯s Lianqiu Lake R&D Center in Qingpu
District, Shanghai. Jia Yu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and
President of the SHPC, participated as an ordinary Party member.
President Jia
noted that to give innovators and creators peace of mind, we must provide
high-quality judicial services to support high-quality development, and
guarantee the rule of law for an open sci-tech innovation environment with
global competitiveness. As the Party members walked through the facility, they
observed and reflected on what they had learned, thereby advancing their
understanding. They said that this themed Party Day event, which brought them
directly to the frontline of technological innovation, served as a profound
integration of theoretical learning and practical experience, as well as a
vivid classroom for strengthening Party commitment and sense of mission.
