On the afternoon of June 24, the Shanghai
High People¡¯s Court (SHPC) and Xiangtan University convened a signing ceremony
to formalize their strategic partnership. Jia Yu, Secretary of the Leading Party
Members Group and President of the SHPC, and Liao Yong¡¯an, Deputy Secretary of
the Party Committee and President of Xiangtan University, attended the event
and delivered keynote addresses. The ceremony was also graced by Wang Liqiu,
Member of the Leading Party Members Group p and Director of the Political
Department of the SHPC; Chen Xu, Member of the Party Committee and Vice
President of Xiangtan University; alongside key officials from both
institutions.
At the ceremony, the two parties
officially inked a strategic cooperation agreement. President Jia Yu also
presented Xiangtan University with the ¡°Series of Textbooks on Adjudication
Studies.¡± Looking ahead, he outlined three core expectations to elevate their
collaborative efforts:
First, to actively forge a new
collaborative education model that seamlessly integrates legal theory with
judicial practice. Through precise alignment and deepened collaboration, both
parties aim to foster the cross-pollination and joint development of academic
and professional faculty, while maximizing the utility of practical training
platforms.
Second, to cultivate a signature brand for
Shanghai-Hunan university cooperation. By developing bespoke, branded
initiatives tailored to local strengths, the partnership seeks to pioneer a new
paradigm of synergy in the rule of law.
Third, to ensure the steady and
substantive advancement of all cooperative endeavors. By adopting a meticulous,
project-driven and checklist-based approach, both institutions are committed to
translating their agreements into tangible outcomes, ensuring the partnership
yields fruitful results and resonates with broader impact.
