On the afternoon of July 27, the Shanghai High People¡¯s Court (SHPC) convened an expanded study meeting of the Theoretical Study Center Group of its Party Leadership Group under the theme of ¡°Thoroughly Studying and Implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building and Guiding High-quality Development of Shanghai Court Work Through High-quality Party Building.¡± Members of the Party Leadership Group, other court leaders, bureau-level officials, and heads of all departments of the SHPC attended the meeting.

Professor Liu Honglin, Dean of the Institute of CPC History and Party Building and Director of the Intra-Party Regulations Research Center at Fudan University, was invited to deliver a special counseling report themed ¡°The Fundamental Guidelines for Party Building in the New Era¡ªStudying and Implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building.¡± Lu Weimin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the SHPC, and Zhao Hong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Shanghai Financial Court, shared their in-depth learning experiences and insights.

The meeting pointed out that Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building serves both as a political program for charting the course and guiding direction, and a working methodology for boosting high-quality development. Shanghai is the birthplace of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the starting point of the Party¡¯s original aspiration, and the cradle of its great founding spirit. Shanghai courts should continue to make solid efforts to fully comprehend, grasp thoroughly and put into practice Xi Jinping Thought, integrate the Fourteen Insistences into all dimensions of their work, including judicial philosophy, judicial measures, and working mechanisms, strive to achieve the integration of learning, thinking, and application, as well as the unity of knowledge, conviction, and practice, and lead high-quality development of court work with high-quality Party building.

Prior to the meeting, members of the Theoretical Study Center Group conducted self-study by reading through Xi Jinping¡¯s speech at the ceremony celebrating the 105^th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and Selected Works on Party Building by Xi Jinping (Volume I & II).
