On July 20, the first Yangtze River Delta Financial Justice Forum themed by "Exploration and Innovation of Financial Judicial Functions" was held at Shanghai Financial Court. Liu Guixiang, Member (vice-ministerial level) of the Adjudication Committee of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai High People's Court, Jin Penghui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director General of PBC Shanghai Head Office and President of PBC Shanghai Branch, and Zhang Hua, Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended the forum and delivered speeches. Mao Ronghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Shanghai High People's Court, made a final speech. The first batch of 10 typical cases on financial trials in the Yangtze River Delta were also released.

Zhao Hong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai Financial Court, and presidents of four intermediate courts in Nanjing, Hangzhou, Hefei and Suzhou delivered speeches on the characteristics of financial cases and their role in financial adjudication respectively. Sun Changshan, Member of the Party Leadership Sub-Group and Deputy Chief Judge of the Third Circuit Court of the SPC, made a speech on further improving the overall ability, quality and efficiency of financial adjudication.

In November 2021, Shanghai Financial Court, together with the intermediate courts in Nanjing, Hangzhou, Hefei and Suzhou, signed the Agreement on Financial Judicial Cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta Region. This forum is another practical initiative of Shanghai Financial Court to further implement the cooperation agreement, promote the unification of financial adjudication standards in the Yangtze River Delta, and serve the major national strategy concerning integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region. Shanghai courts will continue to deepen and cement the regional judicial cooperation, improve the cooperation mechanisms, broaden the cooperation areas and consolidate the cooperation results, so as to provide stronger judicial protection for the integrated and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
