From April 11st to 12nd, Deng Xiuming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Supreme People¡¯s Court and Vice President in charge of daily work, and his entourages went to Shanghai courts to investigate and visit grass-root-level cadres and police officers. Combined with in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the national "Two Sessions", he asked them to seriously implement the deployment requirements of the Party Leadership Group of the Supreme People¡¯s Court and President Zhang Jun, focus on the trial management and the construction of digital courts, promote the quality and efficiency of trial work, and act as the vanguard in modernizing trial court operations to support and serve Chinese-style modernization.
Deng Xiuming and his entourages visited and investigated Shanghai High People¡¯s Court and Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People¡¯s Court, Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Hongkou District People¡¯s Court Circuit Court, etc., and learned about Shanghai¡¯s work in strengthening trial management and the construction of digital courts through site visits, discussions and exchanges, and immersive viewing of the digital trial management system demonstration, etc., and fully affirmed that the Shanghai courts adhered to a clear political stance and statement, served and safeguarded the overall interests with a strong commitment, practiced justice for the people with heart and soul, made early and pilot efforts with great courage to explore and practice, and achieved obvious results in team building. In fact, Zhu Jiandi, Deputy to the National People¡¯s Congress, and Zhu Tongyu, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People¡¯s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), highly evaluated the court work. Combined with the performance of court duties, they put forward their views and suggestions on promoting the construction of digital courts, and optimizing the law-based business environment and others.Deng Xiuming informed the delegates and members of the main work of the people¡¯s court this year so far and the progress of the Supreme People¡¯s Court in earnestly implementing the spirit of the national "Two Sessions" and promoting the implementation of suggestions and proposals. Focusing on accelerating the modernization of trial work, Deng Xiuming emphasized the need to deeply implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, adhere to the political perspective and the rule of law, take the initiative to focus on the central task and serve the overall interests, practice the people-centered development ideology, and actively integrate into and contribute to the national governance and social governance. We should focus on the central task of Chinese-style modernization, give full play to the rule of law as a safeguarding role that strengthens the fundamentals, stabilizes expectations, and benefits the long-term development, better serve the innovation-driven development, actively create a law-based business environment, and promote a high level of opening up to the outside world. We should focus on the modernization of trial management, adhere to scientific management, strengthen digital trial management, optimize and make good use of the trial quality management index system, carry out data analysis, research and consultation, so as to promote the modernization of trial management and social governance. We should insist on taking the construction of digital courts as an key driver, actively integrating into the construction of the ¡°one network¡± of courts nationwide, enhancing the level of intelligence in the application of judicial big data, strengthening digital security guarantee, and helping to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of trials. We should strengthen the cogent team building as a fundamental guarantee, carry out in-depth study and education of CPC party discipline, make long-term efforts to implement the ¡°Three Regulations¡± (refer to the Regulations on the Recording, Notification, and Accountability Investigation of Leading Officials for Interventions in Judicial Activities and Handling of Specific Cases, the Regulations on the Recording and Accountability Investigation of Staff Members of Judicial Organs for Their Intervention in Case Handling, and the Provisions on the Further Regulation of Judicial Personnel¡¯s Contacts with Parties, Attorneys, Persons in Special Relationship, and Intermediary Agencies) and integrate and promote the team¡¯s political construction, expertise and professional ethics construction.
